Squid is an adjustable neck weight for depth freediving. Its ergonomic shape sits securely around the neck and adjusts to different neck circumferences. It doesn’t press on the Adam’s apple or get in the way of equalisation, and it doesn’t knock the chin or the back of the head when you descend or turn.
Removable segments let you set the exact weight with one device, so you can adapt it to different disciplines, water and wetsuits:
PRO 1.3 kg: adjustable from 0.8 to 1.3 kg in 50 g steps.
SPORT 1.6 kg: adjustable from 0.8 to 1.6 kg in 80 g steps (larger segments).
PRO SET 2.0 kg and SPORT SET 2.2 kg: PRO or SPORT with the additional Squid Heavy segment for deeper dives.
Two closure versions. Ring: stainless steel rings, supplied with a strap with T-lock for training and a simple cord for competitions, so the weight can be released quickly in an emergency. Magnetic: a nylon strap fixed with magnets built into the base. Tested with more than 200 professional freedivers.
