Freediving was always about overcoming, and no one represents the overcome quite like Ilenia. Being an athlete her whole life, she suffered a serious road accident that almost took everything from her, the keyword here is "almost". She had the power and motivation to become great, and that's when freediving came into her life, a sport that changed her life.
And now is her turn to change the sport of freediving, having under her name 4 world records for disabled athletes.
This partnership between Ilenia and Lobster Weight is here to bring more awareness to the disabled community in freediving and to encourage people to never give up and always work towards greatness because everything is possible, always.
We are very proud to have an opportunity to work with such an amazing athlete and person. Here are a couple of words from Ilenia herself about our product and partnership:
"Finally with Lobster I no longer feel pain in my back and neck. For people with physical problems, it is essential to have the best comfort, and the Lobster allows you to always modulate the weight. I often change my Lobster Weight according to the type of pool and I finally manage to have a perfect trim under the water, I feel much more fluid.
My performance has become safer and more serene. The best thing about lobster is being able to continuously change the weight of the ballast according to your needs, that's what I think. I am proud and happy with this collaboration."
